DAY 2 TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2024 - AMMAN QAIA AIRPORT - AMMAN CITY TOUR

Arrival at Amman International Airport (called Queen Alia Airport), meet and transfer to hotel in Amman for a refresh stop (no check-in, as check-in time is 14.00pm) using public bathrooms. Then transfer for a City Tour of Amman, the Capital City. Visit the Citadel, the Archeological Museum, the Roman Theatre, the Folklore Museum. After the visit, proceed to your hotel in Amman for check-in and overnight.

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2024 - AMMAN - JERASH - AJLUN - AMMAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit Jerash, the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. Proceed to visit Ajlun Castle (Qal’at Ar-Rabad), built by one of Saladin’s generals in 1184 AD to control the iron mines of Ajloun, and to deter the Franks from invading Ajloun. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

DAY 4 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2024 - AMMAN - DESERT CASTLES - AMMAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to visit Desert Castles: visit 3 of the most preserved Castles in the Eastern Desert starting with Qasr Kharana, then Qasr Amra and finish with Qasr Al-Azraq. Castles are built between the 7th and 8th Century and give impressive examples of Islamic Art and Architecture. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

DAY 5 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2024 - AMMAN - MADABA - NEBO – PETRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Madaba, best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, visit the Saint George Church famous for the 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then proceed to visit Mount Nebo: the mountaintop memorial of Moses with captivating views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and The River Jordan. Proceed to hotel in Petra for check-in and overnight.

DAY 6 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2024 - PETRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Start the visit of Petra, an historical and archaeological city famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved. Known as the capital city of the Nabateans and currently a symbol of Jordan. Back to hotel in Petra for overnight.

DAY 7 SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2024 - PETRA - LITTLE PETRA - WADI RUM

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to visit Little Petra, close to Petra, after a 10 minutes drive, you find Al Beidha, better known as Little Petra. Enter the site through a narrow gorge called Siq al-Barid, the “cold Siq”. Then drive to Wadi Rum, known as The Valley of the Moon, cut into the sandstone and granite rock. Inhabited by many human cultures since prehistoric times, with many cultures–including the Nabateans, leaving their mark in the form of rock paintings, graffiti, and temples. We will arrange a 4x4 Jeep safari by Bedouin Jeep for about 2hrs. After the safari, proceed to camp in Wadi Rum for check-in and overnight.

DAY 8 MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2024 - WADI RUM - AQABA

Breakfast at the camp, check-out and transfer to Aqaba, a Coastal city situated at the northeastern tip of the Red Sea and Jordan’s only Seaport. Famous for its warm water and rich marine life, it is best known today as a seaside and diving resort. Check-in and overnight in hotel in Aqaba.

Note: check-out at 12h00 (noon) and check-in at 16h00pm as per hotel’s policy. Transfer from Wadi Rum to Aqaba takes around 1 hour drive, so upon arrival at the hotel in Aqaba, stay at hotel’s territory until check-in time and you can get the room.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to the Dead Sea. Its surface and shores are 427 meters (1,401 ft) below sea level, Earth’s lowest point on land. The Dead Sea is 306 m (1,004 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. Check-in and overnight in hotel at the Dead Sea.
