DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN KUALA LUMPUR

Upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel. Kuala Lumpur is a bustling metropolis with unique landmarks that are instantly recognisable worldwide. The city’s ability to combine the old with the new creates a delightful contrast which is part of its charming appeal. One of Asia’s most dynamic cities, Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of races and cultures brimming with diverse entertainment options, exciting attractions, and a comprehensive transportation system. Check-in to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure and own activities. At 6:00 pm, depart to the Zenzero Restaurant and Wine Bar for your welcome dinner. Return to your hotel after the tour.

DAY 2 HALF DAY KUALA LUMPUR CITY TOUR

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel. At 9:00 am, proceed with a tour of Kuala Lumpur. This tour takes you to the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers, the site of KL’s humble beginning. Move on to view the splendour of the King’s Palace followed by the National Monument at the Lake Gardens, a sprawling 91.6 hectares of immaculate lawns, undulating hills and carefully cultivated gardens, a scene of harmony, beauty and tranquility both natural and man-made. Proceed to the beautiful National Mosque and drive past the Railway Station to make a stop at Independence Square before the city tour concludes with a photo stop at the centre-piece of KL, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers. Transfer to your hotel after the tour. Rest of the day at leisure and own activities.

DAY 3 FULL DAY MELAKA TOUR

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel. At 9:00 am, meet up with your driver at the hotel lobby and proceed with a brief tour of Melaka. This charming city was founded some 590 years ago by a crown prince called Parameswara. From a humble beginning, Melaka rose to become a prosperous and powerful trading empire sought after by the powers of Europe. They came and they conquered and the Portuguese, the Dutch and the English respectively left behind their mark that stands till this day. Go around town and see some of the oldest relics in the country like the Dutch Square with the pink coloured Stadthuys, Christ Church, Clock Tower and the Queen Victoria Fountain. You will also see the Cheng Hoon Teng, which is the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia founded in 1645. The Porta De Santiago, the Gate to the Portuguese fortress “La Formosa”, built in 1511, the St. Paul’s Church where St. Francis Xavier was once buried, and many more interesting sites would also be worth a look. Lunch will be taken during the tour before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

DAY 4 KUALA LUMPUR – TAMAN NEGARA

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel and check out. At 9:00 am, depart to the Kuala Tahan Jetty. Along the way, make a stop at the limestone hills of Batu Caves, an outcrop that houses a Hindu Temple. You will need to climb 272 steps to reach the top and the temple. Batu Cave is a famous pilgrimage place for the Hindus during the “Thaipusam” festival. At 1:00 pm, you will arrive at Kuala Tahan jetty and cross over to the Mutiara Taman Negara (official check-in time is 3:00 pm), while waiting to check in, you may have lunch on your own account at the resort’s Seri Mutiara restaurant. After check-in, rest of the day at leisure and own activities. At 7:00 pm, you will enjoy a buffet dinner at the resort coffeehouse. After dinner, proceed to the resort’s lobby to be introduced to your new guide. Them, depart for your night jungle walk (shared basis). The jungle comes alive at night, and this is a great opportunity to experience the unique sights and sounds of the plants and insects. Return to the resort and overnight after the tour.

DAY 5 TAMAN NEGARA

Enjoy an immersive day in the heart of nature, starting with breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant. You will then embark on a jungle trekking experience with a nature guide, discovering the Canopy Walkway and Teresek Hill. After lunch at the restaurant, continue your adventure with a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh, including a visit to a gigantic tree and fish feeding at the Kelah Sanctuary. The day concludes with dinner at the restaurant. Please note that all activities on this day are operated on a shared basis.

DAY 6 KUALA TAHAN – CAMERON HIGHLANDS

Breakfast will be taken at the resort and check-out. At 10:00 am, depart across the river to the Kuala Tahan Jetty where your driver will be waiting to take you to Cameron Highlands. Consisting of three main townships – Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang – Cameron Highlands is Malaysia’s largest hill resort. Characterised by a refreshing temperate climate and mesmerising highland panorama, it is made up of undulating valleys, sprawling tea plantations, terraced flower garden, vegetable farms and a strawberry park. A drive down from the mountain will bring you to the Sungei Palas ‘BOH’ Tea Plantation. As the tea factory is closed to visitors, a video presentation will be shown detailing the processes of tea, from its beginnings to the finished product. After the presentation, you will be able to enjoy the plantation, or you may appreciate the many varieties of tea offered at the Tea shop. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Rest of the day at leisure and own activities.

DAY 7 CAMERON HIGHLANDS – PENANG

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel and check out. At 10:00 am, depart to Penang. Penang is a delightful, fusion of nature, culture, and history. Comprising the island of Penang and Seberang Perai on the mainland with one of the longest bridges in Asia running the length between, the state is widely recognised as one of the world’s top holiday destinations. Home to a UNESCO World Heritage City, Penang leaves an indelible mark on each visitor, leaving them wanting more with each visit. Check-in to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, you will be transferred to Gurney Drive and you will be free to walk along the hawker stall to enjoy the food and to see how the food is prepared (dinner will be on own account).

DAY 9 PENANG – KOTA BHARU – PERHENTIAN ISLAND

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel and check out. Transfer to the Penang Airport for your flight to Kota Bharu. Upon arrival in Kota Bharu, meet and greet and shared transfer to the Kuala Besut Jetty for your boat to Perhentian Island. Check in and rest of the day at leisure and own activities.

DAY 15 DEPARTURE FROM PERHENTIAN ISLAND

Breakfast will be taken at the resort and check out. Depart by shared boat to the Kuala Besut Jetty where your driver will be waiting to take you to the Kota Bharu airport for your departure flight.
