20-night stay at leisure in Calella, Spain – Costa Del Maresme and Costa Brava!

Alongside our on-site excursion specialists for Spain, Nathalie and Daniel, Lina will be present throughout the entire 3-week stay to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all.
Inclusions
– Air in our group seats from Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax (if leaving with our group departure)
– Group transfers from Barcelona airport to the hotel and from the hotel to Barcelona airport
– 20-night accommodation in double occupancy in a junior suite with pool view or in a one-bedroom family apartment with city view
– Change of towels daily, apartment cleaning (except kitchenette) and bed sheets changed every 4 days
– Canadian tour leader to assist the passengers on site

Additional Information
Concerning seat selection in GROUP allotment with Air Canada:
The seats reserved for this departure are part of our special group space blocked in each plane. In this case, seat selection can only be made directly at the airport on the day of departure, or at online check-in 24 hours prior to the departure. At time of ticketing, Exotik Journeys will notify the airline which passengers are travelling together in an effort to have them seated together. However, this cannot be guaranteed in advance. There are no exceptions to the seating rules allowed with this promotion and Exotik Journeys cannot be held responsible for final seat selection onboard the plane.
Concerning seat selection in GROUP allotment with Air Transat:
Paid seat selection with Air Transat is only available when we have a minimum of 15 passengers booked. Contact your travel agent for more information.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TRANSFERS
Calella is located approximately one hour by car from Barcelona Airport. If you are not booked on one of our group flights or arriving in the same time frame, there is no issue – you can choose a semi-private transfer (for 2 to 6 passengers) for an additional $95 per person, per way. This option provides a fast transfer with only a few other passengers, in a car, minivan, or small bus, outside of the standard group transfer time. This upgrade can be added up to 45 days prior to departure.
Semi-private: means the vehicle can be shared with other passengers from the same group.
Miami Park Apart-Hotel Calella 3.5*
The Miami Park Calella is a nice, clean, and well located 3.5* Apart hotel (rated 4* according to client appreciation). It is situated in Calella, only 5 minutes walking distance from the train station which itself is only a stone throw away from the beach. Halfway between Girona and Barcelona, Calella is perfect for all sort of excursions and activities, either sea or country related. Links to Barcelona, Girona or more Costa Brava villages, make it great for visits there, as well as wine or food tasting tours, Collserola, San Pere monastery to only cite a few.
The bar of the hotel will be open for our group for a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening with a happy hour every night from 5 to 7 PM – Special 2 for 1 on beer and wine.
The grocery store, shops and restaurants are just a block away.
Note – sea view is not possible as the hotel is just a short distance from the sea.
Calella is a seaside city on the Costa del Maresme, located 58 km northeast of Barcelona in Spain. The town is overlooked from the southwest by a lighthouse, which was built in 1859, and two towers known as Les Torretes, which are the remains of a Semaphore line constructed in the mid-19th century. The beach at Calella is a public beach popular in the summer months with locals and tourists. The beach is just over 2 km long and its southern stretch is quieter than the central and northern portions. The beach has been consistently awarded the European quality Blue Flag.
