This itinerary begins in the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro, where you will discover world-famous landmarks such as Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado and Sugarloaf Mountain. You will also have time to explore independently the historic district of Santa Teresa, as well as the iconic beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. The journey then continues north to Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon. Over several days, you will enjoy a fully immersive experience in your jungle lodge: guided walks through the primary rainforest, nocturnal wildlife spotting (including caimans), piranha fishing, and visits to local communities to learn about life along the river. Finally, you will fly to Foz do Iguaçu to admire the Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This journey allows you to experience the 275 waterfalls from two perspectives: the Brazilian side for its spectacular panoramic views, and the Argentine side for a closer, more immersive encounter with the thunderous Devil’s Throat.

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN RIO DE JANEIRO

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with assistance and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel, accompanied by an English- and Spanish-speaking guide.

DAY 2 RIO DE JANEIRO

After breakfast at the hotel, you will set off on an unforgettable day exploring the most stunning views of Rio de Janeiro during a shared group tour of approximately six hours. The experience begins with the ascent to Corcovado aboard a train that passes through part of the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world. At the top, you will be welcomed by Christ the Redeemer, the country’s most iconic monument and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, offering breathtaking views over the city. The tour continues with a ride on the famous Sugarloaf cable car, the oldest in Brazil. A first stop at Morro da Urca already reveals spectacular scenery, before heading up to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, standing at 395 meters above sea level. From there, an even more expansive panorama unfolds, showcasing the perfect harmony between the ocean, the mountains, and the vibrant energy of Rio de Janeiro.

DAY 3 RIO DE JANEIRO

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have a free day to explore the city at your own pace and make the most of your stay. Whether you choose to relax, wander through local neighborhoods, or discover cultural highlights, this day is entirely yours to shape according to your interests. For those who wish to enhance their experience, a selection of optional excursions is available at an additional cost.

HIKING TO PEDRA BONITA (Private Service)
Set off on a scenic hike through Tijuca National Park to reach the summit of Pedra Bonita, standing at 695 meters. This accessible trail is perfect for nature lovers and rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean, Pedra da Gávea, the Rocinha favela, and the modern district of Barra da Tijuca. On your way down, you will also stop at the famous hang-gliding ramp, where you can watch gliders take off and soar above Rio’s spectacular landscape.

CARNIVAL EXPERIENCE: BEHIND THE SCENES OF RIO CARNIVAL AT THE CITY OF SAMBA
(Duration: approximately 2 hours – shared service – available from Monday to Saturday)
Step into the vibrant world of Rio Carnival with an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience at the City of Samba. During this immersive visit, you will explore the workshops and warehouses where the famous samba schools bring their spectacular parades to life, creating impressive floats and intricate costumes. Beyond discovering the exceptional craftsmanship of designers and performers, you will also learn more about the history and traditions of the Carnival. To make the experience even more memorable, you’ll have the opportunity to try on authentic costumes, take part in a samba dance class, and end your visit with a classic Brazilian cocktail.

DAY 4 RIO DE JANEIRO - MANAUS

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport at the scheduled time via private service, accompanied by an English- and Spanish-speaking guide. Please note that the flight from Rio de Janeiro to Manaus is not included. Upon arrival in Manaus, you will receive assistance followed by a shared transfer to your lodge. You will then begin your Amazon experience, with activities depending on your chosen accommodation, offering an immersive stay in this unique region.

DAYS 5-6 MANAUS - PROGRAM BASED ON THE CHOSEN ACCOMMODATION

Experience an unforgettable immersion in the heart of the Amazon, departing from Manaus, with a lodge stay in close contact with nature. Depending on the chosen accommodation category, you will enjoy a guided activity program designed to reveal the exceptional richness of the Amazon rainforest, its wildlife, flora, and local communities.

TOURIST OPTION – EVOLUCAO LODGE
Your journey begins with a transfer by vehicle followed by a speedboat ride along the Rio Negro to the lodge, where you will receive a warm welcome. You will then enjoy moments of relaxation and meals featuring local flavors before heading out to discover the igapó, the flooded forest, a unique ecosystem where trees emerge directly from the water. Throughout your stay, you will explore the jungle on guided hikes, discover the lifestyle of riverside communities during a visit to a caboclo house, and learn about their traditions, including the production of cassava flour. You will also experience typical Amazon activities such as canoeing through the igarapés, piranha fishing, and wildlife observation at sunset. A night canoe excursion will allow you to approach jungle wildlife, including caimans and nocturnal animals, enhanced by the play of light in the Amazonian darkness. Mornings also offer unique experiences, such as an early canoe trip on the Ariau River to observe tropical birds, followed by a visit to the “Monkey Forest,” a protected area dedicated to observing several species in their natural habitat. The stay ends with a final free morning at the lodge before returning to Manaus.

PREMIUM OPTION – AMAZON ECOPARK
This option offers a more exclusive immersion in the Amazon, combining lodge comfort with a deeper exploration of the tropical rainforest. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation by boat and vehicle, before beginning a stay filled with guided activities designed to fully explore the richness of this unique ecosystem. You will embark on hikes through primary rainforest along more than 10 km of trails, discovering giant trees, orchids, medicinal plants, and tropical fruits, accompanied by experienced guides. You will also visit the Monkey Forest, a conservation center where primates live in a protected natural environment, as well as a caboclo community to learn more about local traditions and riverine lifestyles, including artisanal skills such as cassava flour production. The program also includes a traditional fishing experience and a night canoe excursion, offering a unique sensory immersion in the sounds and wildlife of the jungle, with the opportunity to observe caimans and nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.

DAY 7 MANAUS - FOZ DO IGUAZU

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from the lodge to the airport via shared service. Please note that the flight from Manaus to Iguazu (IGU) is not included. Upon arrival at Iguazu Airport, you will be welcomed and directly transferred to the Brazilian side of the falls for a guided visit of approximately 3 hours. You will discover the Iguazu Falls from the Brazilian perspective during an unforgettable walking experience. Starting near the Hotel das Cataratas, you will follow a 1 km trail that brings you face to face with one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. Originating in the Serra do Mar, the Iguazu River travels over 1,300 km to form this breathtaking system of around 280 waterfalls, reaching heights of up to 60 meters. Along the main path of the national park, you will immerse yourself in lush subtropical vegetation and reach panoramic viewpoints offering stunning perspectives over the falls. As you continue along the walkways, you will feel the mist and hear the powerful roar of the water all around you, getting closer to the heart of the action. The highlight of the visit is the famous Devil’s Throat, the largest and most impressive waterfall in the system, where you will witness the full force of nature in a truly awe-inspiring setting.

HALF-DAY MACUCO SAFARI – EXTENSION OF THE BRAZILIAN FALLS VISIT
(Duration: approximately 1.5 hours – shared service)
The Macuco Safari offers a unique adventure in the heart of the lush Iguazu tropical rainforest. The excursion begins aboard an off-road vehicle that takes you through dense jungle, where you will discover a wide variety of subtropical plant species, including numerous orchids and the famous heart of palm. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by the sounds of local wildlife, and with a bit of luck, you may spot tropical birds and other emblematic species of the region. After approximately 3 km by vehicle, you will continue on foot along a 600-meter trail leading to the beautiful Macuco Falls, hidden in a small canyon deep within the forest. You will then reach the banks of the Iguazu River to board a specially designed inflatable boat adapted for its turbulent waters. You will experience an exhilarating ride through rapids, getting as close as possible to the base of the impressive waterfalls. Surrounded by the roar of the water and refreshing spray, you will feel the full power of nature. Guided by an experienced pilot, you will leave with unforgettable memories and a completely new perspective on the Iguazu Falls.

DAY 8 FOZ DO IGUAZU

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure to discover the wonders of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls on a shared 5-hour tour. Crossing the Iguazu River via the famous Tancredo Neves Bridge, located just 28 km from the city of Foz do Iguaçu, we will enter the Argentine National Park. After passing through the visitor center, we will board the park train that will take us to one of the most impressive highlights: the majestic Devil’s Throat. Located between the Brazilian and Argentine sides, this is the largest waterfall in the Iguazu system, where we will experience up close the spectacular power of the cascading water in a breathtaking natural setting. The visit will then continue on foot with the discovery of the other waterfalls via the Upper Circuit, approximately 1,200 meters long, and, depending on conditions, the Lower Circuit, about 1,750 meters long, along trails crossing lush rainforest, constantly accompanied by the powerful roar of the Iguazu waters.

Enjoy a traditional Brazilian barbecue dinner in Foz do Iguaçu, featuring a variety of meats and side dishes, while attending a vibrant folklore show. Roundtrip transportation from most hotels on the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls is included.
